Int. - Sr. Electrical Designer
The Sr. Electrical Designer reports to the Electrical Hiring Manager at the Rally Office based in Sherwood Park.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:- Plan / Prepare Key Deliverables: Identify / prepare key deliverables (single line diagrams, electrical layouts, detailed wiring diagrams, etc.).
- Conforming to internal and external requirements throughout various project stages (scoping studies, detailed design, etc.).
- Calculations: Prepare, verify and implement electrical design calculations such as voltage drop, cable ampacity, cable tray loading, conduit fill.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Canadian electrical code and proficiency in using its tables and rules to perform electrical design is a must.
- Coordinate: Demonstrated ability to interface between the lead electrical engineer, other engineering disciplines, project engineer, project manager and the client to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of information.
- Supervise: Technical Lead working with a team of engineers, designers and CAD operators to accomplish all aspects of work required, ensuring technical integrity and designs per Company and client standards / specifications, as well as overall responsibility for production of deliverables.
Qualifications - Education, Skills and Experience:- Engineering/Electrical Design certificate/diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experienced using AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Experience in Autoplant and other 3D modeling software an asset. Comfortable working in a 3D environment and reviewing the model is required.
- Expertise with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Soft skills – such as communication, multi tasking, shifting priorities, meeting deadlines, leading, managing, coaching, organizing, customer services, teamwork, collaboration, etc.
